We apologize for the few weeks off with our podcast. But now we‘re back again with a new mix by Munich based Hauprecht Gumpmann better know as the mighty [g]hood.
Born and raised up in a small town in eastern Germany, he discovered true electronic music in the mid 1990's. The wall fell and there was a new stair, even in music. Strongly influenced by the German radio-show "Stunde Null" on Energy Radio featuring awesome djs like Boo Williams, Mike Huckaby or Blake Baxter playing live, he started to record those shows and buying records. Being on the scene since 1998 he discovered many sound-styles: disco-house, detroit techno, electronica, drum n bass, deep house, jazz, soul etc, which make his sets very versatile.
Currently, he‘s, organzing a monthly event with the crew "Department of Volxvergnügen" and spins in different locations and radio stations in Munich and other cities in Germany.
Beside the musical activities, he is a creative head in live visuals and grafic-design. He creates partyflyers and covers for cds/mags, taking pictures and doing some live-visuals at diverse parties.
This is one of the last dth-mixes of the year 2009. This time, mr. haubrecht gumpmann aka [g]hood delivers a special mixture of different (weird) sounds. It is more a selection than a mix done round midnight in a cold winter-night at his munich loft ! "there was no preparation. I felt the vibe and i gone with the flow. the only target was that i didn't want to do a usual house set." Take a seat, lay back, enjoy that trip and listen to the messages! Peace.
